Mike Parker, with extensive experience in all aspects of shopping centre leasing and commercial/corporate real estate, established MPA in January, 1995.

Mike is extremely proud of the Team of dedicated professionals at MPA and the close working relationship we enjoy with leading professionals in the legal and accounting fields.  Also our close association with the globally branded La Senza Lingerie since its inception in 1990 is reflective of our excellent working relationship and dedication to our clients.  Accomplishments with La Senza include the 1990 launch and roll-out of the exciting La Senza concept and participation, in 1993, in the successful IPO of Suzy Shier Limited (since renamed La Senza Corporation).  In the fall of 1996, MPA completed the negotiation and acquisition of the Silk & Satin division (42 existing stores) from Woolworths in New York. We also assisted La Senza with their expansion in the United Kingdom and their successful IPO on the Alternative Investment Market in London, England in 1996. Mike's personal association with La Senza Corporation's real estate spans more than 22 years, and includes their January 2007 sale to Limited Brands.

Prior to founding MPA Mike spent more than 11 years with Dylex Limited, and was appointed Vice-President Corporate Real Estate in 1993.   During his tenure at Dylex, he participated in the North American expansion of the exciting Club Monoco, Thrifty's and Harry Rosen concepts, reengineered the corporate real estate function, and managed Dylex's owned properties.

Mike enjoyed 8 years early in his career with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, working in both real estate and commercial banking.  Mike is a graduate of the University of Guelph, a long-standing member of the International Council of Shopping Centres and an active participant in industry related venues.
