American Eagle Outfitters. Acquisition of 177 leases of the Braemar and Thrifty’s/Bluenotes divisions of Dylex Limited. Renegotiated the leases, permitting the conversion of 46 Braemer stores to American Eagle.
Fairweather Ltd. Acquisition of the 73-store chain from Receiver.
Bi-way. Disposition of Bi-way Real Estate Portfolio. Handled the Marketing and Disposition of more than 240 former Bi-way leases, generating significant added revenue for the Receiver.
The Children’s Place. Acquisition of 23 leases from Comark’s Young Canada and Au Coin des Petits divisions and developed subsequent Canada-wide expansion.
Suzy Shier. Successful divestiture of the company’s 178-store portfolio.
Cotton Ginny. Completed lease valuation for Trustee.
Denninghouse Inc. Advisory services/Dispositions in the restructuring of Buck or Two’s 313 stores under CCAA.
SAAN. Completed complex restructuring for SAAN Stores Limited, encompassing 142 stores and involving 100 separate landlords.
MPA. Mike Parker receives certification as an Expert Witness by Ontario Superior Court.
Limited Brands. Handled all real estate-related components of the Acquisition of La Senza Corporation by Limited Brands (owners of Victoria’s Secret, etc.) in a transaction valued at $628 million USD ($710 million CDN).
American Eagle. Finalized new 17,428 sq. ft. flagship American Eagle store at Rue Peel & Rue Sainte-Catherine, in Montreal.
Limited Brands. Facilitated 10-store package for successful launch of Bath & Body Works in Canada.
Aerie. Finalized new stores for Aerie by American Eagle in Canada, including the brand’s Toronto Eaton Centre flagship.
Victoria’s Secret. Finalized multiple store, market entry flagship strategy and secured prime locations in Canada’s best malls. See EVP Reference Letter
Long Tall Sally. Completed acquisition of Canadian stores and head office for UK-based Long Tall Sally, in addition to completing the initial entry of Long Tall Sally into the US.
GNC. Handled the new store expansion of GNC in Canada, and assisted in Portfolio Management and Analysis.
Joe Fresh. Selected roll-out of Joe Fresh standalone stores in Canada.
VANS. Initial market entry in Canada (downtown Toronto, 2012) and subsequent 20+ store expansion in major markets across Canada.
Rudsak. Restored company to viability through difficult, strategic restructuring, as well as the development of select new stores.
VANS. Grand Opening of the new Flagship at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Toronto.

The North Face. Opening of the new The North Face Outlet at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, Vancouver, anchoring Phase II of this highly successful project.
VANS. Opening of the new Vans at Richmond Centre, Vancouver.
Fossil & Watch Station. MPA handles the Canadian real estate for Fossil, including renewals, lease restructuring, new store considerations and consulting on the Canadian marketplace.
GNC. MPA handled GNC’s real estate in Canada during its joint CCAA / Chapter 11 Bankruptcy proceedings, which culminated in successful restructuring and retention of more than 50 stores and savings of more than $11.5M in occupancy costs for its downsized operations in Canada.
